One Tail at a Time PDX

One Tail at a Time PDX is a no-kill, 501(c)3 all-breed dog rescue committed to lowering euthanasia rates through the rescue and adoption of dogs in need; comprehensive support of adopters; and community outreach through humane education programs and assistance for disadvantaged and low-income families. The rescue began in Chicago in 2008 and expanded to Portland in 2014. All OTAT PDX dogs live in approved, loving and committed volunteer foster homes.

Social Justice
Fund NorthWest

Social Justice Fund's Giving Projects engage members in a deep process of learning about race, class, fundraising, and social change. Participating members organize their communities, raise money to support community organizing and through a democratic, participatory process, determine which organizations to fund. They support organizations that are community based and use community organizing to achieve their goals. Grantees are led by people from the communities most impacted by injustice and inequality.
